STORIES from Swarg

For two long days, he was stuck, helpless and waiting. We don’t know how many people passed by or how many saw him, but no one came forward.

Then one kind person picked up the phone and called us. That single call brought our rescue team to him, and today he is finally safe at Swarg, our animal hospital and shelter in Ahmedabad.

His story is a reminder of how much one call can do. If you see an animal in distress, please don’t walk past. Call our helpline on +91 9106270731 and we will do everything we can to reach them.

Rescue is not just an act; it’s a promise. When we bring an animal to Swarg, we commit to caring for them until they are well.

This cat is one of the many small rescues that make up our everyday work, and every small rescue changes a life.

These little ones lost their mother far too soon.

Today they are safe at Swarg, surrounded by love, care, and hope, and our team is looking after them as they grow.

May their mother know that her little ones are safe.

Some of our patients need more than first aid. X-rays help our vets see exactly what an injury needs and plan the right treatment.

This reel follows one of those journeys, from Swarg back home, carrying healing and hope.

One accident changed his life forever. He still can’t walk, but he is safe with us now.

His healing journey begins here at Swarg. The road is long, but we haven’t given up hope for his recovery.

Tulsi was abandoned after suffering a spinal fracture. She was left helpless and in pain.

But Tulsi found her way to Swarg. Now she is safe, loved, and fighting to heal.

Every life deserves a chance.

“Je tenu dhoop lagya ve, toh main chhaaon ban jaava”: if the sun burns you, I will become your shade.

That line sums up how we care for the youngest animals at Swarg. When they feel the hunger, we become their food; when they feel the pain, we become their comfort.

Recovery doesn’t happen overnight. This kitten is healing slowly at Swarg and growing stronger every day.

Watching our patients find their strength again, one small step at a time, is the best part of our work.

Our team treating a cow in need. Every treatment is a promise of hope.

From dogs and cats to birds and cattle, every animal that needs us is our responsibility, and her healing is ours too.

When Bappa comes to Swarg, blessings fill every corner.

We welcomed Ganpati Bappa to Swarg this Ganesh Chaturthi and celebrated with the animals and our team. Ganpati Bappa Morya!

Justice will roar louder than cruelty.

People across Ahmedabad came together with placards to stand up for our Indian dogs. The message was clear: “We will not stay silent. We will fight for justice.”
